    Record of Service:

     

    William Watson enlisted in the British Army on the 5th of January 1915. He was allocated service number 459410 and served during WW1 with the Royal Army Medical Corps.

     

    William transferred to the Labour Corps and was re-allocated service number 596999. He was discharged from the army on the 19th of March 1919. He was awarded the Silver War badge (No. 478099) as a result of sickness.

     

    He is not entitled to the 1914-15 Star; this is his full WW1 medal entitlement.
