    Record of Service:

     

    Patrick Lally was born on the 11th of March 1889 in Birmingham, England. He joined the British Army and was allocated service number R/2540. He served with the 10th Battalion King’s Royal Rifle Corps during WW1.

     

    Patrick entered France on the 21st of July 1915 and was Killed in Action on the 3rd of September 1916 during the attack on Guillemont. He has no known grave and is remembered on the Thiepval Memorial, France.
