Albert Hart was born on the 7th of September 1893 in Hughenden, Queensland. He enlisted in the A.I.F on the 5th of January 1916 and was allocated service number 1767. He embarked from Brisbane on the 4th of May 1916 with the 9th Reinforcements, 11th Light Horse Regiment.
Albert was taken on strength with the 11th LHR on the 2nd of September 1916 and was with the regiment for the 2nd Battle of Gaza. On the 15th of November 1917 he was admitted to hospital suffering from Malaria. Albert returned to the regiment on the 20th of May 1918 however not long after, on the 11th of July 1918, he was admitted to hospital suffering from a hernia.
Albert returned to Australia on the 15th of January 1919 and was discharged from 1 M.D on the 3rd of April 1919. He served briefly during WW2 (service number Q186990) and died on the 24th of July 1946.
