Albert Rattle was born on the 1st of September 1896 in East Ham, London. He served with the Royal Navy, service number J19057 during both World Wars. He was awarded the RNLSGC medal on the 25th of October 1929.
On the 28th of January 1937 he joined the London Postal Service. He was awarded the Imperial Service Medal as a Sorter, with the Home Civil Service – Admiralty on the 27th of February 1962.
Albert died in July 1970.
