Record of Service:
Percy Templeman was born on the 6th of November 1890 in Sydney, New South Wales. He was working as a Storeman when he enlisted in the A.I.F on the 28th of June 1917. He was allocated service number 7537 and embarked from Sydney on the 31st of October 1917 with the 25th Reinforcements, 4th Battalion.
Percy disembarked in Devonport on the 26th of December 1917 and was admitted to hospital from the 1st Training Battalion on the 5th of February 1918. Percy remained in England for the remainder of the war and returned to Australia on the 31st of May 1919.
Post war Percy worked as a Seaman and served with the Merchant Navy during WW2. He died on the 13th of February 1966.
This is Percy’s full WW1 medal entitlement, he is also entitled to WW2 medals for his service with the Merchant Navy.
