Record of Service:
Victor Brotherton was born on the 6th of August 1891 in Warwick, Queensland. He was working as a Clerk when he enlisted in the A.I.F on the 11th of February 1916. He was allocated service number 17239 and embarked from Sydney with the 25th Reinforcements, Army Medical Corps on the 14th of July 1917.
On the 23rd of July 1917 Victor disembarked at Cape Town, South Africa and was admitted to hospital suffering from Meningitis. He returned to Australia on the 6th of December 1917 and was discharged M.U in the 1 M.D on the 29th of June 1918.
He died on the 15th of October 1951.
