    Record of Service:

     

    George Inns was born in Overton, Birmingham, England. He served as a Rifleman during WW1 with the 9th Battalion, King’s Royal Rifle Corps. He was allocated service number A/2211 and embarked for France with the 9th Battalion K.R.R.C on the 19th of May 1915.

     

    George was Wounded in Action and subsequently died from his wounds, at home, on the 1st of September 1915. He now rests in the Cambridge City Cemetery, U.K.
