James Rimmer was born about 1952. He took part in the Australian National Service Scheme and was allocated service number 5718861 (the “5” in his service number representing a Western Australian enlistment).
Following his National Service James joined the Queensland Ambulance Service and was awarded the National Medal as a Station Officer on the 3rd of August 1996. He was also awarded the Queensland Ambulance Service Long Service Medal with a 10 year bar.
James died on the 8th of April 2022.
